DC – Guessing somewhere around the 200+ mark. Didn't get the chance to put it on the dyno at FAT but that was a ballpark guess at the time.

Rick – I don't need no hairdryer (I don't have much hair left!) Cheesy

This is a good price for sure.My 2332 IDA motor from JMR longblock with IDA's,wedge,Comp.E's etc all the usual weighed in at significantly more buckaroo's  Shocked

I'd guesstimate 190-200bhp at the flywheel....

Keith, what kind of times have you run over the quarter in bluey with this motor and close ratio box ? One for the punters ....... ?

Cheers,

Shane.

I personally only ever ran a three-quarter pass at EBI just once (got out of it as the car was wandering all over the place – tight king-pin was the problem!). Recorded a 13-something, if I recall. Should make the 12s without any problem. The chop-top with significantly more weight ran 12.84 on radials, so Bluey ought to be good for that, or better. Never planned to race the car, hence the lack of track exposure!

I agree 12 second capability for sure. With a practised driver and close ratio box.Happy Days  Smiley

I ran against you in with the chop top ex Keith Goss car years back when Volksworld done a street car shootout ( the first one and still the best by a long chalk ) years back, think it was at a Big Bang event at Santa Pod.My old '63 was running high 13's with my 1835 motor at the time and pretty sure you tripped the lights with a high 12 that day Smiley You won the Comp with Woody getting runner up due to a faster ET than yours truly and I got 3rd.A really good day one of my favourite racing memories purely for the event and slick way Ivan and crew paired up the cars.
