My old bus from about 1996 ish...29k miles from new and never welded !! crossover microbus with devon moonraker conversion....where is it now?

185/65/15 up front. rubs when hard cornering. will try some different shocks next year

vw euro was a brilliant show cant remember how many times i was there, venlo (schatberg?Huh bad spelling) was always my favourite, but six flags was a blast.

wow brings back a lot of memories Speedwell, im the guy in the bottom pic talking to my mate in his beautiful pg/sg 62.  Smiley

That must have been the first vwero at six flags as i still had the sprints, I should have kept those o.g sprints, i sold them to a mate, 4.5 & 5.5 for 450 pounds and they were very good, in fact theyre still on his samba.

Finally got the 1966 356/912 industrial engine "deindustrialised" with a 1720cc biral cylinder kit, Elgin 66509 camshaft, a custom-built  exhaust etc. etc.
The 13w is now running better than ever - I´m loving everything about this new engine!  .....and it has working heating and exhaust is not too loud, so the family loves it too   Wink
VW should have had that M356/912 option back in 1966  Grin Grin Grin

I think they can be cal-lookers, it just takes a little more money these days to do a bus in that fashion.
