Title: Mystery Stroker Crank
Post by: fastoldvw on December 02, 2016, 12:36:24 pm
Hi, I just stumbled over this crank at a friends workshop.

It is a 76 stroke, porsche journal, 8 dowelled crank with some numbers and a logo ( TJ ?) stamped in it, see pics.
Does anyone here know where this crank is from, it looks to be rather old.

Looking at the main journals it looks like a 356/912 crank, or a stroker for a 36hp style engine.
If the centre main is larger it is for a later Porsche.

The flywheel end of the crank looks too big to be for a 36hp/356 engine to me.
