 Cool

Mine!!  Cheesy

I definitely want to make it more cal-look, but I'm on an extremely tight budget, like maximum of 300 euros  Sad The stock horngrills will be going back on soon (I bought it with those on)

It looks really good. Just a tad lower in the front and bigger rear tires like Firestone F560 205/70 and your home.

Thanks, I'd like to take the front down a bit more, but it already scrapes my driveway (most ridiculous driveway ever) Also I would like different rear tires, probably 205/65/r15 not to be too high, but those ones have only done 3000 km so it'd be a bit of a waste, unless I can find a really good deal I'll have to keep those  Sad

I would just replace the horn grills and it's ok, it's nice to see an euro '67 ! Great pics and nice car.  Cool

After your comments I've done some work to my beetle. The stock horngrills are back in place,I have repainted certain bits of trim in black, and I have dechromed the bonnet (correct for a '67 standard) and I have been doing some light rust repair. And much more importantly I had some fun with it today!

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/WqDYB-LbBNk" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/WqDYB-LbBNk</a>

I'm liking my beetle a lot more now that it's got a more sinister look to it with the black Tongue

Here's one of my favorites (....mine!) during a cool week End in the french Alps.

We enjoyed the sunroof!

The evening before the event, I was working on the front fenders to put the Lucas at the right place. Thx Fabs!  Wink
I'm happy with the fender's color, not easy to match a 25 years old faded paint!

There sure are a lot of very nice Cal-Look 67's, which is my favorite year, but Art G's green 67 is my #1 with my Black 67 a very close second.

This one is for Sarge. Trim and turn signals made the red 67 go back to stock.
Brian says the red one is jealous and wants it's the big engine and wheels back. I like them just the way they are.

You and I talked a few times, I think you told me you broke a couple 5 spokes slideing into curb. I had a red paneled squareback then. There was a cute girl in parts with long brown hair, I am guessing named jill I think, That was 30 years ago

Yea, that was me, partially responsible for the rarity of original five spokes! I remember your squareback, nice ride.

You're right again, her name was Jill, damn, you got a good memory. She had some beautiful hair, I was fortunate enough to spend some quality time running my fingers through it  Wink

I'm out in Cali right now for the Classic, I was at Kimballs last night for his annual BBQ. Kieth and a few of his UK crew were there with their own rides, including Kieth's latest looker [much nicer in person] and the recently restored "Tar Babe." A fantastic turnout, looking forward to Nicks tomorrow night. Hopefully I'll see you around. I'm sure I'll be around the DKK "deeks."
