Dear Cal Look fans,
Sunday after the VW Classic, June 2006, I had a secret meeting with my good friends from Japan
(Mr Takashi Komori - president Flat4, Mr Nao Fujita - Flat4 and DKP member, Mr Shin Watanabe - Let's Play VW Magazine)
well it's been a great dinner, very tastefull in a great atmosphere, and with great pleasure I can inform you that for my buddy Kobus we could arrange that
ONE CAR FROM THE FLAT4 COLLECTION will race at the European Bug In 2007.
Choice is still undetermined and reduced to two cars from the collection. Most likely the race car will be shipped during winter time to BBT Belgium and will be exhibited at the bigger European Events during 2007. (Volksworld show, Super VW nationals, etc)
Car will also be on permenant exhibition at BBT nv Belgium.
Respect to our Japanese friends, it's a long way, and first time ever that a race car is shipped from Japan to Europe. But the European Bug In deserves it,
dear friends, prepare your cars, show and race them, Mr Komori and all Flat4 staff support this meeting, show up in force
maybe some Americans are coming with their race cars too ?

it's a race car
but choice is still not determined, two cars are in the running,
only one can be shipped out
I hear the VWSpeed will cover also publicity, do you want me to sent pics of loading the race car in the container ?

As far as I know that car will be racing with the UK's Outlaw Flat Four mob, therefore if it's ready I should imagine it'll be at the Bug-In! Smiley

IP III would be cool,as the little rail too. these 2 cars are the only from original magic  era. The others are all inspired by another destroyed car.

Flat Four bringing a Race Car out of the Collection to Europe for a Show, this is a first ever!

personaly i would like to see Mr.Komori's 70's callook topchop or any of the genuine racecars, with a personal vibe going out to Inch Pincher III, but hey, no time to be picky, and any car that would be sent over will be welcomed with wide open arms!

about the show, well the responce to this event is soo huge that i am sure noone will be dissapointed :-) Racecars and Calllookers from All over Europe are going to be there, the track location alows it for us to have a nice pro trader area, a big show and shine, a spot for slalom, swapmeet etc etc etc

loads of stuff still to think about and plenty left to do, but we'll get there, be patient, the English part of the www.EUROPEANBUGIN.com website will be live soon, and for the Racers, please register asap (once we are set up to take the registrations, we need you to register before the event starts for insurance purposes)

this show... it's going to be one big blast from the past!!!    sooo looking forward to it allready!
