i can use some ideas on some nice mirrors that i can use on a type 3 i still have the original hole in the door, i didn't want to have it welded since i didn't know what mirror to run but all ideas are welcome. i am looking at talbot mirrors and that turbostyle mirror... but i just can't decide. thanks Title: Re: what mirrors look good on a type3 Post by: Turtle001 on February 14, 2007, 17:44:00 pm go for talbot
Title: Re: what mirrors look good on a type3 Post by: Pekka on February 14, 2007, 18:41:11 pm There were Talbot mirrors made specifcally to fit Type 3's (and late beetles) which screw right into the original mirror hole, but these are very rare. There is also a similar mirror for the co-pilot side with 2 screws. I've seen 2 sets of these in the real and once missed a pair on ebay.de.

are those mirrors a big NO NO??? i like them. almost every 80's cal-look ran them and i my humble opinion they look good. talbot is also very nice! no question there. If you like "Turbo mirrors" isn't that then the best possible reason to fit them?
