hi, anyone got pics of cars fitted with a 2" beam...?
vw heritage have a good price on them at the moment.

i'll be running stock wide 5 steels, so should look a bit more tucked...?

do they come with roller bearings? or the squeaky plastic ones?
any experience, or things i should watch out for...?

thanks!

here is mine:
2" narrow CB beam with CB dropped spindles and deisc brakes (repo GeeBees 5,5" - they are pusching whole wheel far more outside than genuine ones), he tires on front are Veredestein 155/80 so quite high. No rubbing on genuine wing (it rubbs being in this hight as on the pic and lower) only on Mexico wing which was put by previous owner (Day Mouldgings are going to be put soon)

(by the way if any one wanna to get DM wings I'll be driving back from UK in half of March through Belgium, and Germany to Poland, I think I'll found a space for one or two more set) any one wanna race weight DM wings for early beetle? have one whole stet.

As far as I know, the 2" narrowed off-the-shelf beams sold by CB and CSP are the same part, made by PUMA, who have been making the adjustable bug beams for years, but just stamped by CB or CSP. They are reasonable quality, but it's worth seam welding around the shock towers, and painting them with something a bit better.

I've seen an adjustable beam on CSP stand at EBI last year and it was not the same crappy puma beam I got elsewhere. The difference in quality was evident.
