Funny how some "other" websites have become nothing more than on-line 'how to manual.'
I sure hope that never ever happens here.

Seems like here there are few enough of us, and most everybody has read almost every post, so if a "how do I...?" comes up, somebody tends to direct the question to the original post.

Nice balance here of true hot rod VW history, friendly banter, and even tech talk. Not new guys signing up only to "tell me what cam and compression and bore and stroke and should I turbo it and what jets and tie my shoe for me and......"

sorry I had to squeeze this out. It was making me sore.
