Those are all tracks i love Cheesy

Not a massive fan of that set tho, love the tunes but am not a big MC fan prefer sets like:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5clAkYEF5w
http://www.youtube.com/user/nineball87#p/u/1/QM_dkDO9tuE

Vocals and the odd articulate MC i quite like, but most MC's just turn it into a personal ego trip rather than part of a WHOLE piece of music.

For fans of liquid dnb and such, check out http://www.defiantradio.co.uk/
It can be found on iTunes and Shoutcast as well. They play a lot of Brookes Brothers, High Contrast etc.

Here's another absolute Brookes Brothers classic:

Adam F's - Colours album is a must (avoid the follow up Kaos - The Anti-Acoustic Warfare - unless you like modern hip-hop)

Circles is the stand out tune from Colours - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTZAQlr6ZZc

Good work from a man whose father is Alvin Stardust   Cheesy

You cannot go wrong with LTJ Bukem either. The Logical Progression series is superb.

Very Floatin'. I knew the song, i didn't know about Alvin's input.....  Thanks Tim !

Just Ordered:

Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust
The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die
Sub Focus - Sub Focus
Danny Byrd - SuperSized
Danny Byrd - Hospital Mix.seven
Adam F. - Colours
Ed Rush and or Optical - anything i can find (just love the baselines and float)
Same counts for Brookes Brothers and LTJ Buken's Locical Progression Series.

Can you guys lead me to Ambient/Drum 'n Bass performers, i think that's my direction since it is more open and mostly
instrumental.

Thanks for all links !!!!!!

PS if somebody could burn: Prohibited Beats - JoJo Mayer & Nerve i would be gratefull. The MP3 Downloads
are area sensitive, no luck in the Netherlands. (There is no album yet since the JoJo & Band have no label right now)

Mmmm... my territory here... There are many different styles of DnB (look it up on Wikipedia).
www.dnbradio.com is not bad either.

I'm more into the liquid Dnb stuff, so here are a few suggestions:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pijre1yI0-Q

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eelkYFpdMQ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykUJI1H-rWM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53zu6O_bVL4

Those 2 are fantastic also, but borderline 'chill out/lounge':

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2kQj2jBLiM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwA8WfROqwY

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the Danny Byrd link... I'm Hooked !!!

Just Ordered:

Syncopix - Icarus
Logistics - Checkpoint
All Danny Byrd Hospital Mixes i could find.

One of my all time fave DnB tunes... I´ve got about 200 records of drum n bass / jungle in my 3500 record collection. I´ve collected 12" / 7" vinyls since i was 15, from techno to motown artists.  Grin

Is there any use for a DJ in SCC....?   Roll Eyes

Take a long, good listening to Pendulum.

Pendulum are an Australian drum and bass/electronic rock production group and live band originally from Perth, Australia formed between producers Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding. In 2003, they relocated to the United Kingdom. They have gained major popularity in the UK, and have started making a name for themselves overseas. After a shift in musical style incorporating a rock-oriented sound, Pendulum are now better known for their energetic live shows, with live band setup and advanced visual displays.

This is their new single, a bit up-tempo but groovy as hell; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWnpwV63KiY&feature=fvsr

And here is their typical sound; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCKpzP5SGYw&feature=related

I'm surprised nobody recommended Medeski, Martin and Wood.  Saw them live a few times in Arizona.
