Mine are in the garage waiting to be put on as soon as my car is painted!

Funny how t-bars actually were put on VWs to be legal in California. Now we put them on for looks although they are illegal to run in many countries....

I have made some t-bars of stainless steel. Fits great to my ride.
If someone else want t-bars like this, it's possible for me to make some.
Looks good, and not to wide.

I usually keep my front plate on the window defroster vent when on the street to keep the police at least partly happy... The hide it in the glove compartment  Roll Eyes

My girlfriend Tessa got a ticket last year for driving without the front registration plate Angry.

To prevent more tickets in the future, we made a simple 90 degree bracket on the side of each t- bar. I guess it was about 3-4 mm thick and they fit inside the gasket together with the t-bar. That way the registration plate is located between the t-bars.

I prefer running without the plate in front. Plates ruin the whole look Cry

Baboon,
the same happened to me here in Switzerland about 1 hour after having mounted the T-Bars on my 55: ticket for about 40 Euro. That was bad luck, I didn't even have a bigger engine! What I learned from this event is following: T-Bars for show, No T-Bars to be quicker, Bumpers to make a big engine more "anonimous" when driving around.
Cheers
