... Bumpers to make a big engine more "anonimous" when driving around.
Cheers
Jose

That`s one of the reasons I`m running WITH bumpers.....  Undecided

Hi Baboon-
Great car!
I especially like the colour of it! What is it? An "official" VW colour or something like "glossy Nato olive"?

Thanks! Is there a special "name" or code for the colour?

Btw:
I am Gregor, not Georg  Wink
I know, the two names are quiet similar...

The color code is: L-312, Palm Green.
The picture is of a 1958 T-2, but the color was available from 1955-58 on T-2`s only.

It is a dark picture. This type 2 is green, and it is the same color.

That's a nice idea for the license plate, I might try that too...

BTW, Baboon, how much is the front beam narrowed on that car?

Well, to get those Cal-Parts nicely under the front wings the beam had to be narrowed 10 cm (4 inches). 145`s up front. Those wheels must be for buggies Grin Grin

Well i used to sport 'em, until i found that just about "everyone" did. So, why not dare to be a little bit different, bend a few "rules" and see if you're still accepted, still cal-look, so now i run a b-bar in the ass, and a single nerf up front for towing, just in case. Didn't like the look of those alu-things.
