Anyone remember the Black Widow?

A  9 sec. 168 mph Turbonique powered VW!  In 1966!

That's what I get for using the SEARCH function first!  :D :D :D

Now, where can I get a can of stupid remover?  I've got this stuff all over me  ;D

The engine unit actually drove the rear wheels,
it was not purely thrust.

Would you drive that thing!?

Think i know a certain nomadic ,britsh ,atlantic hopper who would  ;)
Im impressed that the little gear box held onto the power  8)

Yes, it was running against that four engined monster !
Ivo won, but just barely !
I don't have the equipment needed to convert an 8mm movie into a computer file.
Here is a piece of the film on my scanner.
