I know that this is down to me ultimately but i just cant decide,
when i have the steelies on i fancy the BRMs on and when i have the BRMs on i quite fancy the steels.
I think the BRM'S could benefit from some bigger rubber on the back!!

anyway here are a few pix, i look forward to your feedback.

cheers
mal.

BRM

with caps..

Another vote for steels... you need a bit more tyre up front in my opinion to fill the arch a little more.... what is it at the moment?

Steel wheels are sweet (with or without caps it's sweet both ways).

I guess I'm Old School as I prefer the steel wheels with stock caps.   Wink

I agree. Go 145's, the 135's look a bit lost in there.

This is good. I like the BRM`s too though. Do NOT care for the no hubcap look however. It always reminds me of someone who can`t afford hubcaps or the ratty primer, no decklid, chrome firewall, open stinger crowd. And those front tires look too small to be 135`s so yes on taller tires.

cheers for the comments guys!!
I agree the front tyres also need to fill the arch a bit better, so you guys say 145's?
I had been looking for porsche nipple caps but they were quite hard to find and when i did they were going for daft money.

If the fronts are indeed 135's they must be a 70 section, they look rather short. Normal 145/15's will fill the arches very nicely. Is the beam narrowed?

steel with out caps...if caps nipples only :-) i agree with lil more tire..... maybe a 155 up front (or a cunt hair lower with 145) and a 215/65/B15 M&H dot slick on the back :-)

I'm  going to buck the trend and say BRMs, but with 145s on the front and a decent size tyre on the back. Also, BRMs look better on cars without bumpers IMHO! Smiley

I would run it with the steels without hubcaps, but only after fitting a full width front beam and lower the front some more.
