Looks like John Muir artwork?
I knew a guy who got the beetle driving into the sunset from that book as a tattoo. Looked cool Smiley

Peter Aschwanden was the artist of the Muir illustrations.

But anyhow, it does look like his work, or at least a nod to his style. If I had to have a tattoo that would be a good place to look for ideas!
