Tom, I'm diggin' on your '66... but also for another reason; the car looks like it could be from any era. Timeless, classic, and tastefully done. Great tire combo, too. Eventually, I'll end up with 145s. Had those on my '66 and loved 'em. WAY safer and better looking.

Thanks Bro! I've still got some sorting to do, but Its gettting there Cool

I'm pretty pleased with the way the stance came out on my 67' Smiley.

CB 2" narrowed beam
CB wide 5 discs on dropped spindles
Front Monroe oil shocks (Std lenght)
Rear KYB Gas-a-just shocks
Stock height rear
Flat-4 Enkei five spokes
155R15 Vredestein Sprint Classic front
205/70-15 Vredestein Sprint Classic Rear.

 Smiley

this is one cool car, just love the stance, with the big tyres in the front, do you have some pictures?

The blue '61 and white '67 have great stance. Endre, you're running 155 SR15 tires up front? That's pretty cool... I always assumed that the standard 155 profile wouldn't be low enough to allow the front end of a car to be brought down to a desirable height. If those are 155 SR15 tires in the pics, it looks rather nice. Good job.

Those are the same I have, Vredesteins in standard 155R15 profile. They look good.

Front:
-Stock beam narrowed 4" with body notched-out for shock towers / leaf adjusters (adjusted near mid-way)
-Porsche 5x130 Wheel adapters (push wheels out nearly an inch so it looks more like a 2" narrowed beam
-KYB GR-2 shock absorbers
-CB Performance 2.5" drop spindles
-135 tires

Rear:
-Lowered one inner and one outer spline (I think, can't recall exactly)
-27mm torsion bars
-KYB Gas Adjust shock absorbers
-205/60/15

3" drop in the front, with 195/60-15 on 5.5x15 alloys at all 4 corners. Gonna change to 195/55-15 front and 205/60-15 rear.

My 1968 Beetle with stock front beam/shocks/drums, etc, with CB dropped spindles, 145R15, 4.5" '68 EMPI Sprintstars.
Stock rear suspension/shocks/drums/Z-bar, etc, with 5.5" '69 EMPI's and either 195/65's (first photo) or M&H 215/65's (second photo).  After over 200 launches at the track, the front sits a bit higher than it used to...or perhaps the rear sits lower Wink
