How many will be driving to Bug-In with high horsepower engines?

By the time I get to Bug-In I have probably covered close to 3500km.
Just to separate the real callookers from the trailerqueens Grin.
At 100km at high rpm it will take time....but I will finally get there,
calling in at Camberg and Stuttgart(Porsche) on the way.

I will be leaving Stuttgart on the Wednesday before Bug-In, so if
anyone is driving from that area, please feel free to join me.
Last but not least, I want to wish everyone a safe drive and lets set the standard.

Have a good run Paul, see you there, I'll look for the dazed guy with bleeding ears and just the one plastic bag. Mine's more of a tourer so a little slow on the strip come the racing but on the upside I'll have a nice calm tranquil journey down.

Probably.  Cheesy

Have a safe one, roll on Bug-In!

Cool

i will be driving, but also from belgium... but the car is the tricky part. it will be either the trusty square that has been in rebuild for over a year, or the freshly finished (by then, now it is still a lot of work) fasty.

but even on a bike i will be there.  Wink

Ill hopefully be driving the "most tricked out cal looked drag raceing Iveco 11 car transporter ever ! It will be lowered to the max to clear the bridges and has 16 gears which sound like straight cuts, it is a bit smokey but i can spin the wheels in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and even 5th, now thats horsepower.....................

I wont be driving in the bug but I've been doing some internet surfing and i could'nt believe how cheeply I  could get there for with a flight, a room in a hotel on Sat night 20 mles away and a hire car Sat morning to Sunday night.

How about £160 all in for one, £185 for two or £285 for the full tribe of four Shocked

Very tempting as a cant have the time off to drive there from the uk just got to add food and tickets to get in.

Where's that cheque book

...I´ll go there with my bug: It´s around 700 kms form Stuttgart/Germany where I live @.
I really hate going with that loud and uncomfortable car on the Autobahn with 120 km/h, especially in Germany where you often have sections without speed limit. So you´re often in "conflict" with cars passing you with 220 km/h-that sucks!

Looking forward to the drive over, the 0.82 4th in my car is perfect for cruising across Europe with. mmmm 91/2 mph at 4000rpm... What is it 130 miles from Dunkerque - therefore a simple hour and a half drive -  Grin
