WOW thats saying alot with a name like 67 worshipper !  Grin

BUT..... I will have to agree. As far as I am concerned nothing looks better than an oval.  Cool  They are just spot on. The smaller windows all around ,the simple dash & W-decklid.Just scream for the Cal-look treatment!

Now... if we could just find an easier way to stuff big 2 liters in there without cutting things up. Undecided

more pictures of it please Wink

I agree Allen's car is one of my favorite ovals as well.  Sadly I can't seem to get a pic of it that does it complete justice...in person it has THE LOOK.  And like Mike says, it gets driven hard.

i love this car!! lookin at the motor can anyone tell me if its running idfs? just thought because of the filters

Can anyone tell me about the beam/spindels/breaks used on this car? Love the setup Smiley

It's all CB stuff. Their 2" narrowed beam, dropped spindles, and wide five discs. It all works very well too.

Nice pics, Rob!  I'd forgotten about Geoff's checkerboard nose bra but not the smokey burnouts (Knowlwood's parking lot a few years back Wink).  Brad's Rusto is TITS Cool Cool Cool but those 12 spokes scream major maintenance!  Speaking of maintenance, I like Allen's green oval, too... except for the rusty exhaust pipe.  I know it's about rain / snow back east, but there's an easy fix and it doesn't involve paint or fancy coatings.  All you have to do is wipe the pipes down with an oily rag  and run the car a few blocks to burn off the oil then repeat the process on a weekly basis.... soon the pipes will turn a nice black color and will stay that way if you keep after them.  Works best on new headers.  Best of all, it doesn't cost anything!

Sarge, do you know Allen???  That's almost right up his alley!  Except he'll probably try to get Maize to do it for him.   Cheesy

Sarge, that is EXACTLY the kind of stuff I love to learn about! Will that work on the primaries on my Berg header on my 67, because I cant keep paint on it and I don't want ceramic on that car either. Funniest thing about Allens exhaust is that he owns an auto detailing bussiness! Sooo I refuse to detail his exhaust for him when I have the car apart...it has become a runnig joke between us. I told him he has recieved world wide scorn for not fixing it Grin He said he doesn't care because it makes the car look "driven".

No problem on the primaries, Mike... best to use some new oil rather then the dump bucket stuff, too.  "Driven" cars usually show their scars on the front end, not the back Wink

I like it....my exhaust will be seasoned like my grandmothers baking sheets!  I'll take care of Allens offensive exhaust and send pictures too.

Ahh Knowlwood's. The burnout count has been going down for some years now. Don't think I saw any last year. Just a toilet paper and saran wrapped rental  Wink
