Hey this is scott hall the one sitting in the chair i had the 69 bug hard top, I have alot of old Dkk stuff from back in the day with  tod and steve and my self when we were in the club. i will try to dig them up and tr to email you...nice web site

Heya, Scott...good seeing you on Sunday at Bug-In! If you and Tod can make it, there's a cool D.K.P. Cruise Night every first Sunday of the month at the old Scooter's in Fullerton. Now, it's called Nick's. Also, The Classic in Irvine is coming up in June. Be cool to see you and Tod again. Wish we had more time to hangout on Sunday. Welcome to The Lounge!

not that any one cares, but the notch on page one (67notch) wound up in my possesion in 1984, i traded it for a 59 euro ragtop about 6 months later, sold that and swore i'd NEVER own another VW, went to 12 step meetings and everything. Never say never because after being "clean for 6 years", i came acoss a 69 ghia, and my addiction flaired right back up like i didnt miss a day. probably bought and sold 50-60 cars since then, mostly to danny and brent.

Scanned a few more pics, today.

Here, we're at the photo shoot for the cover and the inside feature on So Cal VW clubs in VW Trends magazine at El Dorado Park in Long Beach, CA. Looks like Mark Ramirez's car on the far left, forgot who's red car that is, Rick Meredith's car, my car, Rob's (I think) convertible, Dave McNew's car, Bob's Notch', Alex Gonzalez' car, don't recognize the dark car, and Kevan Wood's K.G.

In the foreground, Looks like Bob Davis with the white shoes, some tall dude, McNew, my friend, Bob R., Kevan, someone in a cowboy hat, and Rick Meredith looking to the right.

Next, we're at some So Cal multi club gathering at some park in O.C. or Inland Empire... I forget. In the foreground is Tod Fuller and his K.G. and to the right is Kevan Wood and his K.G.

Thanks for the correction, Worm. I fixed it. Famous? Naw, same as it ever was... just a few knuckleheads with cars lookin' to have some fun. Not much has changed. 'Cept for the wrinkles. HA!

Yeah, Rick... the first scan was lame 'cause I didn't get you in the picture. My fault. I re-scanned it and it looks better. Thanks for the park info... it's been way too many years. I was probably 19 years young when I shot these. a LONG time ago.
