Post by: Ulcera on January 29, 2007, 20:45:43 pm
Hi guys,
I've recently bought a pair of 044 heads from CB and my opinion of the chambers CNC work it was negative
so I've decided to polish them to a better finish, what do you think of this work?

looks pretty dam good to me too :) I've just got myself a set of Scat D port 40x37.5 with 56cc combustion chambers- any advice for me guys  ??? :)

I also wanted to about the ports - Am I correct in thinkin you want a slightly rough surface on the Intake port and a smooth/polished surface on the Exhaust port  ???

nice job  ;) i used to do them that way before i started my shop 18 years ago the ports looked the same way deffenetly a PURTY HEAD.    UUUUU   AAAAAHHHH ..   first it takes 40/60 grit cartrige roll then 60 grit shoproll  then 80 grit shoproll then 320 grit shoproll then stackup scotchbrite with red or wite rubing compound. then you get the  UUUUUUU   AAAAAHHHHH.
