Hi folks,
I just purchased a set of modified VW 311B rods. but I have a little concern to use then because of the obvious inregularity on the shaft of the third rod. The others are fine.

Engine will be a 2007ccm with about 130HP.

Do you guys have any opinions about that?!

cheers max

It will probably be ok as stock rods are way overbuilt, but... Undecided

I agree with Zach, or if ya got them from a shop, take them back. For any Performance, I would a better rod than those. Those are way too thin.

If they measure same length I would run them. Those 311 rods are good for more hp than a 2007

Here you can see how lightened and  polished rods must look like. Regarding to your rods i think it depends on the rpm's you want to make.

Hi Udo,
after all I'm really sad that I tried to save some money instead of directly send you mine. I got some things for sale right now - so you are gonna hear from me, to modify my rods. We've already spoken about that a while ago.
