Guys, I'm in desperate need of a blanking plate for the radio slot in a bug dashboard. It's a European-spec 1970, so non-padded dash, with no chrome trim. The bodyshell has been painted and built up, but the painter will be spraying all the smaller bits next week! Shocked

If anyone has anything, please reply here or send me a PM!

Thanks,
Neil Smiley

Steve, I think they fit any year, I don't think they changed much, only the holes in them. Does yours have trim holes?

Lee, if I can't get a blank one I'll probably have yours or Steve's and just get busy with the welder! Wink Is it the one out of Project '66?

Just hack the dashboard around and throw in a kick-as stereo.

I would do, but I spent three days cutting out the hacked dash and re-welding the middle of another dash in... Cheesy

Steve, I got one thanks, it was sat on the doormat when I got home yesterday! Got it through Volkstorque where I'd also got a wanted ad. Thanks for looking for me though. Wink
