Goodwood Circuit Breakfast Club last year

Great shots man - does anyone know the wheel width and tire combo on the black 67 running the BRM's, it has the perfect stance to my mind.

The front has 145/15 XZX Michelin's and the rear tyres are 205/70R15 B F Goodrich Radial TA's fitted to 5x15 flat 4 Brm's.

I think the rear BRMs are 6.5" wide.  Grin

Here's a pic of my Aussie 70', 1835, 110, single 40DRLA, bought it with the flared guards which I hate, changing soon. Plates are for my oval.

I guess, Pete, the owner knows what he wants to do in that regard better than you or me.

I don't think the owner has much choice once Alex has a 'vision' of how he wants a car to look  Wink (I'm not the owner by the way, mines a bit higher at the front and rear and has no trim!)

Nice look w/ the mirror. I've done that to a car that I had back in the 80's but I also painted the back side of the mirror. Not the lip around it though. Kinda would blend with the trim on the car and sorta match the reverse lights.. Maybe a cleaner look. Good job on the upgrades, including the back side of reverse lights. Cool

Thanks, guys. I remember Dave McNew painting his '67 mirror stem back in the early '80s. Then, he painted his reverse light bezels. But I decided to paint only the housings and do the opposite, since my chrome was so worn. Also, if you notice... I painted the antenna base, too.

Next, I'll dye the headliner black. I was gonna leave it white, but since the previous owner put in black carpet and the headliner is the incorrect one-piece (unless my car is so late that this is the original), the black will freshen up my otherwise badly stained headliner. Then, the car will at least look more complete till I can fund the new transmission & engine. Eventually, the carpet will be replaced with German gray square weave and the headliner will be the correct one that has the stitching around the rear window and white. But that's way down the road. Who knows? I just may dig the all black interior. Time will tell.

Yeah, Fabian... I really appreciate that pear shaped mirror. Right after you left for Belgium, I ended up finding the one that was on my orange '66. But it was badly rusted.

You can clean it up a little further with one of the antennas that retract completely down into the quarter panel. I did it, and it also helped my Sapphire's radio reception, as well.
You're headliner isn't the original- even my '72 has the seperate part around the rear window. My vote is for grey square weave and a white headliner when the time comes... all black makes you feel like you're in a cave!

That's good to know about the antenna and thanks for the tip... but I'm happy with the original type one that's in there, now. Unless, of course, this one fails and I need to replace it, one day.

I helped McNew and a few other friends dye their headliners back in the early '80s. And I really don't care how dark it'll be in there. It's just a temporary band-aid till after the engine/trans is done. The stains won't clean off and it's the only part of the interior that looks worn/old.
