Remember Rudy's Brown split bug in UltraVW.
The split was crashed at SuperVW Nat's.
Now Rudy made a Prostock newbeettle , while waiting for parts it continuous on the red  67  .

Man, that picture from VW Trends brings back memories.  That is the awesome 1970 Ghia of Joe Hullet.  The car ran a 78x90 engine (NPR 90 pistons - NOT Cima 90.5's).  He ran NOS as well and shot the car into the high 11's.  Back in the 80's that was smoking fast! Shocked  I loved that car!  The license plate read "DO YA 12".   Wink

I believe that the plate was supposed to be DO YA 1 2 (Do You Want To)

Well Here is My Plate I Ran On My Zenith Blue Empi 67 with BRM's then Later put them on my 69 SquareBack. I Ran EMPI 8 Spokes and 4 Wheel Disc Brakes on the Squareback  I Think the Last Tag on the Plate was 1981 If you look in the Empi Catalogs they showed a Few Bugs  that econo motors owned that had the Calif Plates One had  EMPI and the Other said  EMPI GTV well I Said to myself I wonder if EMPI USA is Taken??  Well I Went To DMV and it Was not So  I Got Them and Now there just Hanging in my Garage.. they look good With the EMPI USA Frames on them.  EAT YOUR HEART OUT GUYS  LOL  !!!
