let's not talk about my progress  Cheesy
things haven't really worked out as i hoped, not enough to finish and having to redo somethings didn't help.
i got your regulator as a backup in case i have to go back to a one carb spare engine, but now i'm thinking of running it instead of my holley. as soon as i've sorted the T adapt that allows for 3/8" thread.  Smiley

i'm afraid this is the only cool pic i currently have to offer

cheers jamie!
though it looks very messy, indicator, steering wheel and horn aren't even bolted on. it's just for the picture  Grin

but yeah i'm pretty chuffed to see how my dash came out just like i imagined.
the only thing i'm pondering on right now is whether or not to get the drill out and mount 2 more gauges in a certain place.  Shocked
scary stuff!

Honestly? There looks plenty of guages there too me.... would be easy for it to look too 'busy'. You should see my dash. It gives me a head ache just thinking about it. WAAAAY too much info, and once I'm on the track, I'm too busy looking straight ahead  Wink

Anyway, more pics... one I took of Matt Keen's beautiful bug at Bug Jam.... love it!

... Anyone notice the willow green  Huh

(Trust me I've done my research) ...

The photo date is April '69 yet I don't think Willow appears until '71, where did you get the colour info?

Oh, man... that's gotta be one of the all-time best photographs on The Lounge. Such a sweet line up of awesomeness, I mean Porsches. That shot of the black Ghia and beige Bug is cool, too.

As I understand things he put it back to stock and sold it on.

On the subject of aluminium wheels, and  because its as good an excuse as I need, here's another of my bug - the wheels are el cheap MWS brms's sandblasted (you ought to see how many pinholes are in these damn things!) and oxidized.

Hi Johnny,

at least my centerlines looked similar after I sandblasted them.
