Unusual to see a hubcap on a race car... but very cool, nonetheless. Tero. Timeless picture, for sure.

That´s true! Drill and lighten the whole rims to save weight ... and then add a hubcaps BUT drill them!  Grin

But it surely looks good!

Bugs For Breakfast, this morning, at Norm's Famous Burgers (formerly Scotty's, 30 years ago) on Whittier Blvd.

D.K.K. just had two more cars finished and added to the lineup. One is a '61 ragtop (for another thread) and Joe "Skeeter" Larson's '66 is back in his ownership, once again. An original D.K.K. car!

Remember that lime green car with the Centerlines and plaid interior that I posted awhile back? This is that same car. Behold... the power cosmic.

Collect the entire set.

Sorry, Ted, for not getting a good picture of your car... had some issues fighting sun flares, so I had to delete it. Thanks to everyone that came out and to Bruce for putting this together. Great turnout and food. I went back and apologized to the folks in the dining room for our loudness. They were actually very cool and understanding about it. Especially, when I explained that most of us cruised our VWs through that very same spot when it was Scotty's, thirty years ago.

Sue asked me why I didn't go this morning. I told her...

Strike 1: Too Early
Strike 2: Too Far
Strike 3: No running VW.

That's 3 strikes... I'm out  Cheesy

Our car still has 'em, Fabian... not to worry, my friend.   Wink  Here's another shot from this morning.

You just might be correct, Nico.  Grin

Hey, my car has Porsche wheels on both sides that are five lug. I thought that met the criteria of Cal Look, yes?

Rick, beings that you have two cars from thirty years ago... you get a free pass. Next time, please show up. Great food, too!
