Those would certainly qualify as cool pics, such that they are.

On a trip to Scotland over the weekend I noticed that John Bonhams sister has a band and is touring (she was playing in Kinross).... not sure what the musics like, or if any of the Led Zeppelin 'magic' landed on her, but it piqued my interest.... unfortunately it was a whistle stop tour with work so didn't get to see....

Cool photos KS!

Dyno Surfboards... brings back many good memories. Hanging out at the Dyno shop on Main St. in downtown Huntington Beach, back when it was a surf ghetto. Not the stupid mall look that it's currently suffering.

My best friend, Bob, had a beautiful orange/yellow Dyno... if I remember right, it was a smaller fish shape with a swallow tail.

Speaking of Surfin....Mark ,I was lucky enough to meet this guy you might recognize...? He came into my work one day and as soon as I saw him I knew who he was ....!! Gray hair and all !....we talked all night till we closed up and he invited me and my coworker to be his guest when hewas the announcer at the Long Board contest and also show me his favorite hangouts in H.B. ..! I was stoaked ..!! Five Summer Stories was my favorite Surf flick...I saw it the first day it came out ! ....We first went to "Dukes" and had a Brew then Up the street to "Aloha Grill " and on the way he stoped at Jack's Surf shop to make sure we saw "Both" of his Star on the "Surfing Walk of Fame ".,... it was Great...!

Ah yes! Good ol' David. Super cool cat, great surfer, and he used to hang out with the longboard club that I was in from '90-'95. I was too busy having fun raising my sons, so I left the club. But would still run into David at either surf/skateboard conventions (he worked for the company that set up the booths) or just surfing up and down the coast. Many times, at San Onofre. I remember the first time my wife met him... funny! He and Robert August and a few of us were enjoying some summer waves and all of our motorhomes parked together. David paddled way out with a fishing rod. Caught a nice sized halibut and came back in to cook it in the fire pit. He walked over to our motorhome where I was drinking a cerveza. He stuck his head inside the kitchen and asked for a fillet knife. I got up, gave him one, and he smiled and flashed a Hang Loose symbol with his hand. My wife said, "OMG! Do you know who that IS???" Told her that we were friends and how I was honored to surf with a few old pros like him throughout my life.

I still have a copy of 5 Summer Stories and a movie handbill. GREAT surf/skateboard movie that's part of my huge movie collection. Great story, Randy. Good to see that we have a few surfers/skateboarders in the Cal Look scene.
