So I haven't properly introduced myself or my bug on this forum, other than having asked a few goofy questions and accidentally posting links to some older pictures of it, so here goes; I'm Andrew, I live in Colorado working at a shop owned by another member on this forum who will go unnamed, and I drive a Ruby Red early-ish '67 bug. She's been in the family since 1989, and I'm proud to have been slowly but surely turning her into a mild looker of my own!

That was me having just a little bit of fun in some snow a few weeks ago, much warmer than the commute home tonight I must say! Apologies for the terrible screenshot quality, but it's one of the only "action" photos I have.
I got this second picture right before I pulled into the garage for the night, I wanted to catch the redness of the light from the mismatched bulbs and the bit of light from my garage, hopefully you guys like it!

Fiatdude, is that an original Topolino?! Where did you track it down if you don't mind me asking?

It popped up on Craigslist a little while back -- The listing stated she had several old Fiats for sale, make offer, email for pictures -- It was out near Temecula -- there was also what I originally thought was a 850 spider (you can also see in the picture) and 2 perfect early 500's also -- The Topo was so original and complete I couldn't believe it, interior was gone, but no rust at all -- It was a super nice older lady who's husband had died and she had no idea of their worth and was wanting to clean up the property for sale -- I wa so blown away of the topo , that I was hardly looking at the 850, when my mind clicked on the headlights, they were the enclosed super rare all glass headlight that were also on the Ferrari's, so I really started looking at it and it turned out to be a very rare Fiat Abarth OT 1000 Spider, which ended up been worth more than the Topo -- I gave her a phone number of a collector I knew and also a idea on what they were worth, she was happily surprised on their worth,  I must of been low on the amount because he bought all 4 with no haggling on the price LOL  -- But she was extremely happy with what she got too,,
but the bastard didn't even give me a finders fee LOL,, but I was happy to help the lady out

Can't wait to see "rolling blackout" in the mag..., been a long time coming!
Aaron at Foothill Fab gave me the heads up on this feature....I feel that
us VW dude's sometimes get railroaded/bulldozed into looking at the same old (talented)builders etc.... Look at Foothill Fab for added
Inspiration.... What d'ya say Danny G?

That's an incredible rolling blackout pic at the VW wrecking yard! I saw that lightning bug door or roof in the background too! Looks like it was cut in half or something.  What's the story with that piece of the lightning bug?

Wait till you see this issue!   Deano arranged some incredible location shots; using very sophisticated photography equipment. Shooting a black car is not an easy task. The whole issue is epic!
