I have a cylinder head temp gauge but missing the sensor!
It´s a gauge of the "sport comp" series (3336)

The problem is not about getting a sensor. The problem is where to drill and tap the head without causing damage?!
Is it even impossible to place the sensor without demounting the head?

There is a spark plug probe available from autometer but as I figured out it´s only for the "sport comp" series...

...let me know if I´m wrong and thanks for helping me out!  Undecided

Cheers

hello,  I'm running that unit in my ghia,  right or wrong  my friend fabbed a piece of round stock,  threaded both ends,  head stud thread and guage sender thread and mounted it to number 3 side.. Like i said everybody has an opinion on where to put it, and i can guage it that way and it does work.  100% accurate maybe not,  but it does function.
