Hello All.
First post, so its a chance to show my car, introduce myself and contribute to the late lookers' thread all in one !  Grin

Its a 1970 beetle, anything post 67 is a late car IMO. But its not a Cal Looker. Its got EMPI GTV scoops and an Autocavan duck tail spoiler out back, a GTV / Gasser scoop hood, and Wolfrace Slotmags. Inside I run a GTV shifter too and the seats are JAZ, so they support the period 70's look.

Motor is 1776cc NA on weber 40's, good for 15.3s / 84mph.

Mine are 5.5 front and back, 165/65 in front, will change to 135R15 later. On the first pic i have the old 165R15 on in the back, now replaced with 195/70 in the last pic that gives a nice rake (I would go 205/65, but this rubber was cheap =))

Here is one that we assembled for my sister. Not exactly a Cal-Looker, but it was the way she wanted it.

Same car as posted before (from the Inland Empire, Ca) but with 'burners and cheaters. I still think it would look great without such a narrowed beam.
