hye
I have start this week end my work on my ghia
a new 1641 single port engine will be fitted in the car next days
I will use for the engine
empi speedwell spring kit carb rebuilt by A.Martin
rebuilt bosch 010 but corect caps is missing
empi nos transispark
empi nos engine trim set
empi nos fuel filter
empi nos globe T sender unit
complete oil breather kit by Race trim Autohaus ( breather box, extra capacity oil sump, and valve cover)
gene berg oil breather box
empi chromed fat boy exhaust

some empi gauges will be fit too

I need some goodies to finish my job
2 speedwell air filter for CD 150 carbs
nos 010 distributor caps or a good one
nos empi oil pump with filter kit or a good one
complet empi eliminator shifter

I realy love those old school tuning parts..
88mm slipper skirts, speedwell carbs....

I like to know, what kind off HP is coming from this kind of engine.

It missing more than 88mm kit
but I am still looking for the missing stuff
I just had found empi front schock absorber (rear is missing)
but I heard about a  rear set on the samba ?
does anybody have pictures of empi power brakes?

You have to get rid of that muffler and put on a glass pack or at the very least a single quiet pack. The rest of the engine is so cool and correct.

really nice motor!
Will be great on your ride; you added such other nice period parts...

But... I agree witj Larry, thinking you have to put a period exhaust like a glass pack one.

today i work on my engine i've problem with the starter but i change this one and now engine's turn ,  now  it remains to adjust my carbs and to change my ignition put the 010  i took a video  may be later ii will put then on this tread  Wink

here's the small video of the my start engine  Roll Eyes just to see if the stater was the good model  but there's no fuel on the tank and in a near future i will adjust my stromberg with a old guys who was preparing old mini & other english car for rally  Grin
