anyone staying in the Racers campsite? I was considering camping there, but it's not a matter of being the only one there  ;D

So the racing elite (250 chosen ones) and famous vw clubs with the cool/fast cars gets to stay on the bug in area, and the rest just have to park in the visitor area and find a campsite nearby to stay at ?

Isn´t there enough space for everybody to park and camp on the bugin area? 

My guess would be that the whole gettogether camp thing, was one of the biggest reasons why people went to such a big event in the first place.....   Sorry for my pessimistic attitude - I´m just a bit disappointed, as this wasn´t what I expected. I will hopefully be in a better mood tomorrow. :-(

there is possibility for fields we can hire around the track.. but the problem is there is nothing there.... no water, no electricity nothing....
so the cost of Generators.. showers.. wattersuply etc etc etc... we can;t do it.

so like in France for the supervw nationals (wich get upto 20.000Visitors!) we opted for the small campsite where we will provide facility's it is normal this privilege goes to the racers and show and shine participnats because they will be the main attraction to the show.

for the rest the area of Chimay is realy nice, and there is a long list of possible places in the area where you can go find a place to sleep...

I'll be on site too and all i hope is thatI can find my way back from the Bar  :P :)

Boom Boom, rest assured, this being Chimay.... there will be a bar out there evry couple of 100 feet, so you can get up and just make it to the next one for a refill before passing out again...

I'll be staying in a lovely little place a few km's down the road. Hot running water and comfy beds  ;D

Did you want to stay there? Thought you were kipping in your Passat?  :P

I dont drink at all when i racing but the car is going to go bang again so i will have one or two. :D
