Well, since my last post on this engine, I finaly got it cured and back in my car on Saturday, and tuned on Sunday, and at the DKP cruz night, that night. Man it was good to drive something with some power. Was so much fun to drive again. Had a little, you can say, starter wire problem, before I left, which is now fixed. But with some help from a couple of guys from DKP and other VW family guys, got me going. Below are just a few pics of my new 2303cc motor.

There was some D.K.K. moron that helped push, too.

Glad it's running again, Ted.

Yeah, it was like a Fred reunion sandwich. They (John & Bill) were on either side of me and I was in the middle.

Whoa.

Now that I've gone and gayed up your thread. Let's change the subject to this, while I go wash my mouth out with a Newcastle.

The combo is a 83mm crank that Bob ground for me a long time ago, by 94mm pistons. The problem before is that it seized at the rear main. Crank turned out ok but the case took a good hit. So now i'm using my Berg case. This time around, no problems, runs great, and yes those are new engine pics. The pic that Mark posted is back at Stephans book signing. That motor was a 1776cc back then.  Grin
