I remember talking this over with Mark Herbert a few years ago and he claimed to have found an old warehouse having plaid in stock in OC...he talked about his old 66 that had the V-dub covers plaid interior in it......It was nice in the warm and looked cool......So a while ago I mailed Dyno Don about the subject and he claimed me to be a least 15 years to late :D.....guess that is the fate......I allways wanted a plaid interior....for a least 25 years now!!! There has to be someone able to supply all of us (well maybe some one more the me wants them) with a true interior of the 70's!!!  Would be 8)

Looks good! Are beard seats heavier than stock seats? Their primary use in the U.S. is for off-road and I do not mean drag racing. ;D

There's not much difference in weight really, they have lots of padding in them which makes them light!

Great interior and the Beard seats are super comfortable as well.

I have a plaid style interior in my 63 (sort of) - poor pic (mobile)

I really like the interior that Bernie did in Ivan's 67 as well.

Nice to see the Beards on original runners too. Was it much faff getting them to fit, how low do you sit it the car.  Mine are on the tall Beard (redArt) frames and I can only just put my arm on the cabby door top.
They are soo comfy.
