This complete interior is sitting in my garage now days... so if anyone wants a full plaid oval interior, put together by bernie...

No way dude, you're not gonna change it? Shocked It well suits the car.

That would look awesome in my car, but i probably couldn't afford it, wel, not for a while anyway  Roll Eyes

Plus i don't know if the door panels would fit.

Interior changed earlier this year.. not the best photo...

Nope, they're beard's lowbacks. We managed to get Paul at VW Speedshop to import a couple of sets...

Looks good! Are beard seats heavier than stock seats? Their primary use in the U.S. is for off-road and I do not mean drag racing. Grin

There's not much difference in weight really, they have lots of padding in them which makes them light!

they are also in that 10sec vw that runs 11's. the one that mark herbert was involved with... they sure do look nice. not quite a classic look, but very nice IMHO

Great interior and the Beard seats are super comfortable as well.

I have a plaid style interior in my 63 (sort of) - poor pic (mobile)

I really like the interior that Bernie did in Ivan's 67 as well.

Nice to see the Beards on original runners too. Was it much faff getting them to fit, how low do you sit it the car.  Mine are on the tall Beard (redArt) frames and I can only just put my arm on the cabby door top.
They are soo comfy.

Funny how any time I see plaid seats I think of Herb Tarlick from the show WKRP, Cincinatti.
