I remember a car from somewhere in the 80's, maybe @ Baylands...
pre 67 car, pearl yellow, 5-lug satin Centerlines, shaved of all moldings, etc, 48IDA motor.... anybody remember it? A good looking car, not a look seen much today.

cool...i have a real soft spot for bright yellow cal-lookers,

there was a 2165cc bright yellow car in Volksword back in the early/mid 90's that was  pretty cool....as i recall the dude had a purple looker too?

i think there was a nice picture of this car in VWtrends when they had a picture from the past on the last pages. this one was the car parked in front of the LA firedepartmenttrucks.

there is also the one from a guy working at Berg's in Mike Key's book (same book as dumper is in) but that was more butternut.

The fireman named lance built a 67 cuda that I did alot of metalwork on, Thats real nice, fuel injected Hemi, tube chassis that Ron at victory race car's built.

I always thought mike martinez's yellow 67 was never given it's credit due. Car was not around for long as crashed by future owner, but it is my favorite yellow car. pics?? billl
