This car is an Iconic VW raising the bar in VW drag racing. I remember it at Big Bang 3 years ago the track was pretty greasy and obviously traction was an issue.

Hopefully we will get good weather at Bug Jam so we can see you or Bernie set a floorpan record.

We saw two bugs heads up run an 8.9 and a 9.0 second 1/4 at the Bugorama in 1999 it was brilliant but obviously dry.

Looking forward to seeing your car again you never know we might end up against each other :)

hello white knuckle.  having a person that can tune the engine is the key to a monster like that. you cant get to greedy. im sure they have had there blunders every body does  hopefuly not poping to many high$$ parts. but it seems they have it down now for sure. 74x101.6 is just a tad bit differnt than what kieth had run. still type one based. wich is cool!! love that big BORE!! i think they could get alot more out of it. of coarse 94 bore has deffenetly proven it self for sure. i like the way this car works it remindes me of chris bubbetts car kinda loose. like riding a wild horse. yee HAAAA.. ;D build your self one white knuckle. its only money right. UD. ;)

One cool thing is that is carbed! Almost every other 8 sec bug is fuel injected.
The car is for sale, he is selling it to finance the last parts of his new bug.
