I want one too!  That would be perfect for my 67.

Doesnt look too hard to make. Maybe a little time consuming, but it looks fairly easy.

I really like that tach gauge single grill. I have been trying to figure out how to mount the tack on my '67 without having it sticking up in the window. I may go with the single tach, single fuel on the other side, then oil temp, oil pres & volts where the radio is now. (All VDO Series 1 guages)

Thanks Richard I am a little ahead of the Game I Had John at Grumpys Metal Fab Make This One up I told him after seeing the right side he was making that he needed to make the left side. I had Bought a set of gauge panels from germany but they were made from a stock grill  and were 2 piece The One's On Samba Are One Piece and Are Made really Nice he made them to fit 67 and older dashes so you dont have a gap around the panel like you do on after market panels I am not sure if the will fit 68 and later with a dash pad..   I bought two Sets  Since they are all hand made you never know how long or how many will be made..  here is his website http://www.grumpysmetal.com/index.html     He Also Dose VW Only RUST REPAIR and will take on any custom metal project but I can tell you He is good and you get what you Pay for if you talk to John Tell him Gary From Texas Sent you!! lol

Heres the two sets I got today the grills in the plastic are from Grumpy's Metal Fab. The Yellow ones are from Germany and are stock grills with a ring welded to the front they are two piece I did not like the way the grill bars looked  I sold The Yellow ones when I found Grumpys would make them up... how I wanted them...
