wanted a pair of simpson harness's.
the y shaped type with the single strap that mounts between the rear seat in a bug, anybody got any?

Something to bear in mind is that the 3 point with the Y-shape shoulder straps are no longer legal for racing, and haven't been for a while, so you may struggle to find a set. I think Adele and Steve are Simpson dealers and they're only in Edwinstowe (near Mansfield), so they might be more help! Smiley

yeah i know, the annoying thing is i sold a set last yr not knowing they were no longer available! the car would only be used for a bit of run wot u brung racing.
are steve & adele vintage air? ive tried contacting them but never had any luck!

in which situations does this apply? at bitburg a lapbelt was legal for 12s...
i've got an older belt, lap and shoulder straps sewn together with a single strap at the back (Y-shape) with just one latch. i know these aren't legal in those quick classes at U.S. events. but they should be fine in europe right? or is 1on1 just exceptionally lenient?

Died, Bitburg is just RWYB, same as a lot of events, which have much less stringent safety rules. The MSA/FIA events have much tighter rules and you can "get away" with less. I'd always recommend building to the full race regulations, just in case! Smiley
