I have polished Fuchs on our family bus and OG EMPI 8 Spyders on our convertible. Another wheel I like is the Superior Turtleback. It can be a good thing to have 2 or 3 different sets of rims to give the car different looks. Wink

I think that's Rob from Prowagen's car - early '65 model judging by the number plate. Seem to remember it on Centerline Convo Pro's at Bug Jam a couple of years ago.

It is owned by Mark now. Rob must be the PO. Yes, sorry, a B plate would make it a 64 wouldn't it. Mark has been running it on the Centrelines, but has just fitted the Remotecs - which he says has transformed the look of the car. Car has been in VolksWorld before.

Engine is something like a 2.1 with 48IDAs

Dig it Cool

I like the decklid vent, but I would prefer to see another on the left side. Either way, it's a hard looking ride.

Was that the one with the gold centerlines, recognise the decklid from volkswolrd feature.

The Bug was originally done by Lyndon Creamer back in 2003 and it used to be on Gold Ercos, see pic....

It has changed hands a few times since, the starter of this thread '48ida' once owned it too  Wink

It is now in the hands of my bro and me, thebusbros in the UK. The engine is still the Keith Seume built 2110cc 48ida motor pushing out around 180bhp

Shouts go out to Daz Chandler 'Aircooled Perfomance' who are now looking after all engine servicing etc. The wheels, brakes and stance are down to One-On-One Resto's Steve Gilbert and Kinkymick  Wink

how you getting on with those Avon rear tyres - they are not cheap but look really good (have a set on my car but have not driven yet!)

Cheers Duck  Wink

Will be going to Daz's again in a couple of weeks, has a JKM Linkage on at the mo which we are taking off and adding a Berg.

If you know of anyone who is interested in the Big Wig Ally Interior Panels and also the 5 x Centerline Convo Stars, these will be up forsale soon.

Going back to Stock on the interior with a twist.

Hi jmarkha1, Those Avons are not cheap, but I think well worth the money for looks alone, proper old skool tyre, very sticky. Drove all the way to Bad Camberg with torrential down pours, tyres drove fine in the wet, although I was taking it easy. Have 2 M&H Racemasters which I wouldn't of liked in the wet, they would have been hairy to say the least  Shocked

I bougt them in Germany last summer

size is 5.5 15 INCH

No manufacter inside

They fit an original fush hupcap  (see pics)

Thanks for the reply. I really like those. Is there any way anyone can find out who made those and what car they were originally intended for? I'm guessing that lug pattern fits VW & Porsche 914, yes?

hallo,

i think a saw these wheels on a lancia today,it was a Lancia Iniezione.
