Ed, I've just come in from the garage after spending the better part of an hour getting one of my other cars out. I'm heading for Cars & Coffee as I haven't been in a while and the car needs to be driven.
Somehow if people would show up at this monthly event it could be great. Hope you have a good time and some others show |

I' m glad to see changing the week made so many more people show up!!! REAR THE SARCASM !!! A dismal showing 3 cars & 5 people. Oh well, great to see friends and spend the morning together. Next Saturday is the day before Drag Day...
...yep, blame that on Rich Kimball and the Irwindale Speedway  But, I have spoken to the locals and a few of us will still be meeting up this Saturday July 14th to have our regular Bug's for Breakfast gathering at Ruby's Diner in Whittier. Hopefully there will be a special guest with his Drag Racing themed vehicle in attendance for our inspection  Anyone interested in doing two things with their Bug all in one weekend is welcome and encouraged to attend |

Oh no....they scheduled a Drag day for the day after Bugs for Breakfast WOW kinda like scheduling the BUG-IN after a Nick's Cruise Night Or JEEZ -- Imagine if they scheduled The Classic following a Friday night after some people decided to park their car at the corner of Brookhurst and Orangethorpe !!!! Maybe IT IS !!! POSSIBLE to drive your car 2 days in a row !!!! It would really be nice to see a few people show up at a small shopping center in a very non-auto relevant city like Whittier on Whittier Blvd. ( I remember cruising there once or twice) but that was long ago Way back when people drove the cars they owned. |

Not really CRAZZEEEE but I am starting to wonder if people get it? I can remember driving 25 miles or more one way to get to a RALLY, then drive to the pizza joint, then street racing at Nabisco, then drive HOME. And the very next day driving the same 25 miles to DVB clubhouse for a meeting. I did that so often, when I was President of the Club I would stop at the clubhouse and sleep an hour or so before driving home !!! Is it really so much to wake up and spend a couple of hours with like minded folks and eat breakfast?  Maybe we should move it to Nick's People seem to be able to find that place !! |

Imports are not allowed on the friday nite thing. I was told they are trying to avoid the Honda tuner crowd. Unfortunately this lumps classic VW's into the mix of non invited.
Around 8:30 Saturday morning for B4B.

All vw's or VW owners or people who know people who have VW's are welcome. We meet at Ruby's Diner in Whittier at 8:30 on the second saturday of the month. We tried other locations and other times, but this one has been the best for most. We usually get 10- 12 cars out so it will be nice to see someone new.
