While most of you are on the other side of the Atlantic, I forgot to stop by earlier and mention the event we've got coming up on Thursday here in Vegas.  In conjunction with my website, German-Pride.com, I've worked all year to assemble the biggest and badest VW's in north america.  I really wish we could get some of the European's over here too!
All that being said,

CB PERFORMANCE PRESENTS...   THE DYNO SESSION IN THE DESERT!

I realize the majority of you won't be able to attend, you can get all the updates and a video of the event on our site.  We also have confirmations that Super VW and Hot VWs magazines will be there to catch all the action.  We are going to have a street car shoot out in the morning with 2 classes: Naturally Aspirated and Forced Induction.  In the afternoon the gloves come off, and big boys get ready to throw down!  Lauffer, Calabrese, Madson, McDermott, Luppino, Fetherhoff, Hemphill and Tostenson will open some eyes for sure!  It is being touted "THE WORLD'S LARGEST COLLECTION OF VW HORSEPOWER!"

I can't say enough about our artist, Lemorris Harris.  The guy is amazing!  I wanted an orignal somewhat cartoony feel to the shirt design and he hit the nail on the head!  We've got an outlaw "bad boy" dyno operator, and the Red Baron is the untameable horse, breaking the dyno straps, with the Las Vegas sky line in the background!  The Cartoony look to it gives it a flavor that hints back to that 60's&70's era we all love so much!  I LOVE IT!  Shirts and posters are available on the website, and some have already to Norway and France! Grin

All my homework is done now.  I'm just dying for Thursday to come around so we can get it started!  Grin

Wish me Luck!  And pray that no one breaks on the Dyno! Wink

Having seen some of these cars running on the track I'd love to be there when they hit the dyno, Vegas week will be something else. I'm also waiting to see what one of the Real Street cars comes up with, there should be some good times.

Could not make the trek; but here are some results (HP at the WHEELS!):
- Steve Dalton (2.8L with IDAs) = 198 HP
- Chad Tostenson ('67 - turbo) = 390 HP
- Mike Scott (silver Oval with 17-in Porsche rims - turbo) = 515 HP
- Kris Lauffer (red convertible - turbo/nitrous) = 666 HP

Also, 2 impressive PRA Pro Mod cars:
- Eric Calabrese (Red Baron Oval) = 640 HP
- Eric Madson (convertible Ghia) = 753 HP
