Wonder is anyone can help.

My fuel sender is broken and I need to replace it.

My bug is a 1966 Australian import, small window etc - a bit odd.

I can't find a fuel sender that looks like this for a bug!

Can anyone assist?!

Cheers,

Steve

The tank sender in the picture is the same as a 66 to 69 type 3 that sender reads in reverse of the us tank senders

good question i would like to do the same changing my fuel sender , but my car is a 61 standard , normally no gauges on the dash , system is the same as an oval or 58->60 model it's just the small lever below the dashboard
i have in place an new one electrical sender , but i'm not sure that this one  reads the fuel level correctly , i've the idea to put the same sender  in the pictures sight above
wich way is the best Huh to have a fuem sender who's reading correctly the level of my tank
thx
