Title: Speedwell BRMs Post by: Azureblue52 on December 14, 2007, 00:56:01 am Hi Guys,
As promised, here are a set of four BRM's complete with centre caps, inserts and modified 911 alloy nuts. Out of the 11 BRM's I had, these were by far the best set and the ones I was going to fit to my Split bug. As you can probably figure out from the pics, the back and inside of the wheel has been painted satin black to protect the magnesium alloy from the elements, but the front is left bare which is how I was going to run them. There has never been any damage to any of the wheels so there are no welds cracks or anything else nasty to find. The inserts and nuts are balanced on for the photo just to give you an idea. If I'm honest I don't really want to sell them and it's probably not the best time of year either, but for the right money I'll let them go. I'm in the UK, but feel free to reply or PM with your best offers in Euros, Sterling or Dollars, the exchage rate will probably go against our American friends. Title: Re: Speedwell BRMs Post by: Rune on December 14, 2007, 23:23:46 pm Dude, I don't want to mess with your sale here. But if you are not really keen on selling them you should keep them... Just a thought..
These seem to be in really good condition.. I know for sure that I will never part with my set :) Title: Re: Speedwell BRMs Post by: Frank LUX on December 14, 2007, 23:28:02 pm Looks like I lost in Euro Millionaire again this week, so I won't be able to buy them... :'(
Maybe more luck next weekend... ;) Frank Title: Re: Speedwell BRMs Post by: SlingShot on December 18, 2007, 05:49:31 am Put them on Ebay, lets see how much they go for ;)
Title: Re: Speedwell BRMs Post by: Azureblue52 on December 18, 2007, 10:37:39 am Put them on Ebay, lets see how much they go for ;) I probably will, but obviously with a reserve. When I mentioned that I'd be selling them I got hassled to get them listed, now they're listed it goes quiet again ::) Interestingly I was contacted by GhiaStef63. On a previous thread he'd sold a set for €7500 and has another set on thesamba for €6000. Did someone mention dealer..... Comments like that can be (if at all) done in the off topic section
