Do it yourself.  Thats what we used to do.  Spray wet, apply film, squeegee....done.

I always liked the look too. Trust me, I'm not going in headlight glass business... I figured it was the same legwork no matter how many pair I had made so five pair seemed like a good number   Tempering the glass tripled the price but I figured the end result would be worth it. 

Mine may end up with a light tint at some point

Geez, haven't seen those in many years. Is that from your old stock, Dave? Had those on my car for a short while right when I built it in '79. Painted the buckets flat black, too. Then, saw the light (pun intent) and from then on, ran some sort of VW and/or Porsche Euro spec lighting on every Volkswagen I owned.

Nah, Fred-- these are new. 

My driving force was to highlight the NOS Marchal Amplilux two bulb lights I've had for so long.

I figured the flat glass would do the trick... and I think it did.
