Hello.
We have just disassembeled an engine originally built in Sweden about 10 years ago. It has never been started, so everything is "new" exept for a few parts that has suffered from corrosion over the years.

The Cam is an ENEM "B8" and supposidly 280ish.  But do any of you Swedish or Nowegian guys happen to know the specs on this one, or should I bite the bullit and begin to degree it ?

Knowing Enemīs filosofy, I wouldīnt be surprised if it was a split duration cam.

Thanks.

Trough the years I have seen a few enem cams and they are usually made from standard cams regrinds. The last one was very much like the Gene Berg k8 with very good bottom end but very short on duration. One motor I renovated had an enem cam with high lift at short duration that on a 2l engine made close to 160hp with original heads that where sort of semihemi cut. As the saying goes, there are more than one way of skinning a cat.
