hi all

im thinking about going bigger with my bus engine(on a budget)
at the moment its 1641 ,engle 100 . 1.25 rockers standard home ported heads with hd single springs
remote filter
its great !
but we all know the score !!!! Roll Eyes
anyway I was thinking of changing to 76 crank and keeping the barrels and pistons
so just over 1800 cc
what cam would work well ?
what c/r ?
I don't want to fork out for a oil cooler etc
just trying for a budget up grade / keep the reliability I have
don't want to set any records just more poke for my daily  Grin
oh its got 36 dells that I love !
thanks for any good advice in advance  Grin Grin

cheers

If the crank is counter weighted, lighten the flywheel.

What's your compression ratio?

A good friend has a Bus ... We built a very nice Berg 78X90.5 engine for it. Mildly ported, stock valved heads, dual 42DCNFs, etc., ... Engle 100 camshaft.
Runs great with lots of torque to haul the weight around with good fuel mileage as well.
Stick with the 100, engine size makes no difference!
Good luck with your project! Love the 76 ...
