Heya, I'm ryan. New to the forum. Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm digging around through old threads. Fairly newer to the vw scene I guess, I've had a few bugs and busses over the years, but have sold them due to financials. I still have one beetle left I'm working on, it's a 65 pan with a 68 body on it. I really want to go cal look, or close to it. All the others in my club are the super low patina rides which are cool and all... but frankly I'm getting tired of the same old same old. Strange that cal look is now outside the box to me, but maybe it means it's coming back! I'm sure mine wont hold up to the strict rules for a while, but I'm in florida anyway lol.

Very pleased to meet everyone, and it's a breath of fresh air to see a forum still going like this! Facebook is about worn out to me as well. My apologies for any typos, as I'm on my phone typing.

Thank you again for having me!

Thank you!! I will add some pics soon as I can. It's not going to work from my phone. Rust free body, basecoat/clear coat red. But the paint has started peeling apart from the primer in a few corners. Smooth dash, 1 pc glass, pop out rears, new window seals, sway bar, mooneyes steering wheel, scat drag fast shifter. Probably a couple small things I left out, really glad I found this place! I've already found a ton of answers and ideas just from searching.
