Title: How do you store your Looker?
Post by: TexasTom on March 13, 2011, 02:09:01 am
I hate to admit it, but this is mine ... 3 covers and 2 quilts.
Gotta protect it from the animals! (humans included) :D

Unfortunately, it takes 15-20 minutes just to get out of the garage!

Hi

The stated footprint is not much help as the thing "balloons" when inflated- it is a little tight with the garage door but it fits just..  :D

Assume one and a half beetles is a good guide at the widest points of the balloon.

I bought it after we moved- the electrician moved the car to do some works (despite being told not to) and then closed the garage door on the bonnet.  >:(.

I had it repainted and then dropped something on the bonnet and front wing myself. The kids run in there and the dogs do the same so this is just insurance.

I liked it with the wide-5s, but this looks like it is ready to eat some pavement!

Well done, Tx Tom!

Holy MOLY!
I'm starting to feel lucky I can keep it inside.
I just don't know how some keep their rides so clean ... maybe they don't have west Texas DUST blowing in constantly? :D
I like the bubble deal, 'cept for the size.

Hi Glenn

Nice to see that your son is in cycling too, and you are into Vdubs, like me.  Nice Cervelo bike you have there.  My son is 9 years old and in very heavy into cycling.  He's got a 24 inch Bianchi and has weeks he cycles more than 100 kms in a week.

Enjoy a beautiful sport.
