Title: Long or short Axles? Help needed
Post by: 71CALRIPPER on August 31, 2009, 11:19:15 am
Right then bought myself a nice 67 but as far as history goes i have very little ! How does one find out if the car has long or short axles fitted, is there a measurement i can take?

She is an F Reg UK spec 67 if that helps from the factory but she may have been changed.

Thank you

ROb

Just look at the end castings, one is a little over 3", the other is over 4", can't remember the exact specs but that should get you close.
