Title: Drag Day II at York Post by: jamiep_jamiep on September 04, 2009, 08:58:59 am Was just plain awesome. Thanks to the guys who made us York-virgins so welcome. The track rocks and the atmosphere was just great, a really friendly feel to it. I managed a new pb (still crap bearing in mind what I have, but hey, I'm a novice) of 13.1 @ 110, and my buddy Poe is starting to get to grips with the wobbly racer and ran a 12.14. PB's all round for a number of guys over the weekend.

You would have loved York James - not only did we run in Air Cooled Eliminators, but also Sportsman (11.99 & slower) and for those quick enough Pro ET (11.99 and quicker) which throws the VW's in at the deep end against some of detroits heavy hitters.
